Socorro McCaslin

Socorro is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over 25 years of experience supporting CXOs and other Sr. leaders; working for companies such as Citibank, Mercy General Hospital, Barclays Global Investors, WebEx, Cisco Systems and most recently Frankline Templeton. Since 2001, Socorro has supported Franklin’s President and Chief Administrator Officer. Her latest role allows her to work in a virtual environment. She is part of a growing trend as a remote worker with 10 year’s tenure.

Socorro is so passionate about remote work that she began providing speeches to internal and external Administrators on “The Virtualization Age! The Remote Executive Assistant.” She believes, given the rapid pace of change and evolution in today’s business world, it is absolutely essential that workers no longer rely on the support centered physical office, but also embrace remote work. Socorro earned her Associates degree from Delta College, is a CEAP (Certified Executive Administrative Professional), IAAP member since 2013, and a STAR Achiever. Socorro married her college sweetheart 27 years ago and had two children with him, Shea and Jadon. She and her husband live just outside Sacramento in Gold River, CA. Socorro enjoys gardening, painting, trail walking, and spending time with her family and friends.
